Val di Zoldo is one of the main access points to the Civetta ski area (80 km of slopes), all located between 1,300 and 2,400 metres above sea level, and part of the Dolomiti Superski carousel, offering 1,200 km of slopes set among the most beautiful mountains in the world, recognised by UNESCO.

In addition to alpine skiing, the area offers three cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing routes, outdoor ice skating, and a wide range of activities organised by the local tourism consortium.

Trekking, mountain huts and traditions in the Dolomites


Val di Zoldo is an good starting point for reaching numerous mountain huts and for hikes of all levels, from easy walks suitable for children and seniors to via ferrata routes and climbing on the surrounding peaks.

During the summer, the valley also hosts traditional village festivals featuring local cuisine and mountain folk music.

The valley is widely known as the “Valley of Ice Cream”, as many locals in the past emigrated to Germany, Austria, Belgium and Spain, where they opened ice cream shops that are still operating today.

Location


Set in unspoilt natural surroundings, just 35 km from the A27 motorway exit and 30 km from the Longarone-Zoldo railway station.

The valley lies between the Pelmo and Civetta massifs, as well as Bosconero and Mezzodì.

By car, you can easily reach the foot of Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites, or the Tofane peaks in Cortina.
